On the 20th January 2022, the Calligraphy Unit of Al-Quran College Terengganu conducted a Research and Development (R&D) at the Tuanku Fauziah Gallery, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).
The purpose of this study is to examine the manuscripts available in the gallery, among them are the handwritten manuscripts of the Quran. The study of this manuscript is through the identification of watermarks, writing forms, decoration, coloring, manuscript cover and so on.
Apart from that, the Calligraphy Unit has the opportunity to see works from well-known artists in Malaysia, such as works produced by Latif Mohidin and also has the opportunity to deepen the knowledge of visual arts with the Director of Tuanku Fauziah Gallery, YBhg. Prof. Prof. Hasnul Jamal bin Saidon. In addition, the Senior Assistant Curator (Marketing, Promotion and Corporate Relations) of Tuanku Fauziah Gallery, USM also shared knowledge with the delegation from KQT. and the best.
